Welcome to the MistraPharma Wiki Database!

The MistraPharma database is free of charge and open for everyone. It is constructed as a wiki which means that anyone is allowed to propose additional data to the database. The aim is to keep the database continuously updated with your help, and that the MistraPharma database will be used by researchers and governmental authorities worldwide. You add your data by clicking here.

The MistraPharma database was created with the aim to compile all publicly available ecotoxicity data for all active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) with the following exception: only the APIs for which an environmental risk assessment is required according to European law are included, hence vitamins, minerals, vaccines, etc. are not included. The construction of this database was made within the MistraPharma research program which focuses on pharmaceuticals for human use available on the Swedish market and their effects in the aquatic environment.

Information from the MistraPharma database can be retrieved in two ways:

1. By using the web based search options
2. By downloading the whole database (requires Microsoft Access)

The database is compiled using Microsoft Access 2000. The data retrieved from the database are compatible with all other Microsoft programs.

We aim to update the database regularly (Last updated 2012-11-07).
